Big +1 on the Duke 2. My first high quality brush and still one of my favorites despite trying many more brushes.

My opinion is that boar brushes can load up harder soaps easier. Still working it out for myself.
Makes me wish there was a storefront where we could go and test out different brushes. Probably won't work out though.

Ok, I went with a Colonel from thesuperiorshave and was able to select one based on photos and measured specs.
Rooney 1/1 in silvertip. Amazing brush for hard soaps!!!
Agree Rudy can get you exactly where you want to be. I love my 24 mm tgn finest in a Rudy Vey handle. He is great to work with. Good luck
