Nivea 3 in 1 shaving soap - With Tallow!

Gentleman,

Quite a surprise. Over here we have 2 Nivea soaps advertised as 3 in 1, shaving included. I’ve seen them and read the ingredients list but never saw anything that caught my attention.

Now, I was looking at Nivea website and decided to check them out again, and to my surprise the first ingredient on the list is TALLOW!

Wow! Could they have changed the formula?! I don’t know, but tallow wasn’t listed a few months ago!

Now I’m off to the drugstores to find them!

I’ll keep you updated if I find them and if the ingredient list matches the website.

I never loved Nivea cream, but could this be a potential part of a future frankensoap? Hmmmmm.

Just got back from some drugstores. The ones I found the first ingredient was sodium oleate, like I remember seeing in the past.

This is weird, it’s either a recent change that will soon appear on shelves or it’s a big error on the website which I don’t believe.

I’ve emailed Nivea, I’ll update once they reply.
