Nine Flags Cologne: Anyone remember those?

I remember my dad getting a set of these 9 "international" colognes back in the late 60's. My mom really couldn't stand the Hong Kong variety, so, my dad gave it to me to use up. Haven't thought about it much until about 3 months ago.

Now I find myself wanting to try and assemble a set of those things. Just for nostalgia sake. Anybody else use those back in the day?

I had not heard of this, but you can get 8 of them in a collection on the "bay" for only $549.

Since these things are so rare and crazy prices on ebay, I'm wondering if any of you recommend any of the scent matching places out there? Since I haven't smelled the scent I'm looking for in decades, if an "imposter" fragrance was close, I probably wouldn't care.

I think I had a set of those but to in my mind the early to mid 60s. I was probably around 10. Strange how, I, a 10 year old would ask for that for a Christmas present.
