Blade choice is critical AND very subjective. If you like them (essentially your face does!) then for you they are the best ones. 
I started with Astras after much reading here and I still like them. Not the sharpest but they do great . . . for me. I'm sort of 50/50 with them and Feathers. You were much wiser than me, I think with starting with one set up and sticking with it for a while. You seem to be sorting things well- good luck with the badger brush(es). I suspect you'll be branching out on those as well.
