The crowd over on the Colt Forum all seem to be excited.
I'm not so sure on the QC.I had one in the early 80s. It was the prettiest handgun I'd ever seen. It was also a tack driver on the range, but it was mechanically finicky. Open & close the cylinder, barrel leading and case ejection could be problematic. If the price were reasonable, I would consider another. I'm sure machine tolerances and quality control is better now.
I doubt anyone at the factory even knows how to produce the COLT Royal Blue of the 1950s - 1960s ....If it's the real Royal Blue it will be great. It seems a few on reddit have had qc issues since Colt and Cz got together. With the Pythons and with a few Cz's as well. Hope they iron it out.
That sure is a beauty.I doubt anyone at the factory even knows how to produce the COLT Royal Blue of the 1950s - 1960s ....View attachment 1800435View attachment 1800436
I agree , reports on Standard Manufacturing have been very good. Unfortunately I am not financially in the market lol. I'm on a hunt for a used Anschutz 17 series rifle or an HK usp t in 45. Maybe next year a blued beauty.I doubt anyone at the factory even knows how to produce the COLT Royal Blue of the 1950s - 1960s ....View attachment 1800435View attachment 1800436
