What's new

My second restore; Kent V6 in butterscotch.

Today I finally finished my first restore (I posted a thread about it this afternoon). Afterwards I had a few errands to run but luckily I got home early. Lucky because I couldn't stop thinking about the second handle that I have to be restored.
When I arrived home I jumped straight to it. The knot had previously been cut down and partly drilled out. From my previous attemp I had learned to go deeper into the handle, so this is just what I did.
Initially I was worried I had made the hole in the handle a little large as there was plenty of room between the plug and the handle but the glue in the knot was wide enough to fill the void nicely and acheive a snug fit.
I didnt have much to do, just deepen and widen the hole slightly.

I emailed kent about the V6 to see if they had any info of the brush as I couldn't find any online. The only info they had was that it was filled with a silvertip knot. I wanted to restore it to its former glory so I decided to re-knot it with a silvertip.

The knot is a TGN Silvertip set at a loft of 50mm.
