Mühle STF question

So I bought myself the 21mm Mühle 31 K 256 STF. It's been a few years since I had a Mühle in 21mm.

What I noticed is that knot is not overly dense. Is this common for Mühle STF brushes? Perhaps I've gotten too used to stuffed knots from China, like Razorock etc? Pics below.

The 21mm knots are not overly dense, I have 2, a Kosmo and a Rocca and they do splay over time making them seem less dense and also softer. I used to bowl lather, but after acquiring the Kosmo I almost exclusively face lather when using hard soap. I don't have an XL to compare it to buy I am told it splays in a similar manner.
It is a truly excellent brush and both of them are favourites in my den.

The 19 and 21mm knots are very thin and always have been but the 25mm is quite dense and much more popular of the 3 in general...

My examples follow what @muzichead said. The 21mm I have is noticeably thinner than the 25mm. I like the 21mm best.

Thanks all. I stupidly sold a pre-coin 21mm a couple of years ago and I couldn't recall what that knot looked like.
