Loose Cap on Ever_Ready Razor

I've recently discovered Ever-Ready/Gem/Star-type razors and have purchased a couple on line. They all shave great, but the cap (the part that snaps down to hold the blade in place on the stops) on one of them is a bit loose. Is there an easy way to tweak this to make it close more tightly? Thanks very much.

I suspect there are more....and I will confess that someone tried to talk me through the process, but I've got zero-mechanical-ability/aptitude, and I chickened out.
