Leaf razor consistency

Wondering if anything else has had any consistency problems using the Leaf razor? I've been using it for quite a while now to shave my head, and will get an excellent shave one day, then replace the blades and get completely torn up on the next shave. The only difference is a new blade. I'm using Astra SS. I have noticed sometimes the blades sit kind of lopsided. Wondering if it's the razor? Or maybe an inconsistency in the blade?

-do you mean a leaf single edge twig or leaf triple blade pivoting head or a leaf de?
-there was a note about the twigs cap bending. Which could be bend back

It's the Leaf which takes 3 half blades.
