How to get this watch working again?

Hey, I recently came into this watch:

...but it isn't working. Do these watches get wound, or is it probably a battery that it needs? It seems like it's in good condition otherwise.


Also, what do you guys think of it, as far as it's appearance goes?

That is a quartz watch, it needs a battery. Any local jewelry store that sells watches should be able to change it for you.

I think it's a good looking watch. I've owned quite a few Seiko's myself. Actually have 2 now!!

Turn the bezel until the little black circle is over the 12. If you can't figure it out after that, buy a digital.

(They were originally used for timing scuba dives, that's why the bezel turns.)
