What's new

Hat of the Day!

My Bailey Billy in a new color for this year. The pic doesn't do the color justice. It's a teal/gray mix. It is a wonderful color. Maybe I'll try to get a better pic where the color pops.

Last couple years, lucked into some "pre-owned" fur felt fedoras in my size for cheap (and I mean cheap). The only thing not perfect was their 2" brims. They're lovely - don't get me wrong - but just didn't have that super-classic look.
Just got lucky again with this beauty (again, cheap), and am amazed at the difference in aesthetics with a 2.5" brim (see left vs right below). Just a totally different vibe (to me)! She's a Biltmore Senator with a great teardrop crown, and the Canada Genuine Leather-marked sweatband.
Anyone here from the Milwaukee area? I tried to look up the "Head's up" store, but it appears they're out of business. Dunno how to figure the age of the hat, but will really enjoy wearing her around, especially with a few months to go before it's sweltering hot outside again. :lol1:

That's a great pick up. It's beautiful and looks like mint condition. I prefer that teardrop bash. Hopefully someone can give you some insight into the retailer but you might want to check with the Fedora Lounge for info on the age of the hat.
