Got a beater Fatboy today

Onotoman's store just quoted a price of $20 plus $7 for return shipping to replate a Fat Boy.

Wow, much cheaper than I was thinking. I was expecting at least $30-40.

I think its a bonus that there is another fatty out of the stores and into the hands of the people who will do something with it.
yeah it needs a lot of work, but now someone has a chance to do it.

Aw thanks guys, it's nice to be appreciated. I've been looking into Rhodium plating but the chemicals are more expensive than a mint cased #66 for only 1 gram of Rhodium in solution, which would probably do only a couple of razors BUT I've come across a possible alternative called 'Palladium' which looks just about identical to Rhodium but so much cheaper for the chemicals. I've ordered some and will replate a Super Speed or something and see how it looks...
