Gillette Fat Handle Tech

For the past year I have not had to shave every day and have been tending to reach for my more aggressive open combs like the Old Type, NEW, New Improved, Schone and Muhle R41. But more recently I have had to shave every day and I have been using my pre-war Fat Handle Tech. I find it to be an awesome and forgiving shaver that is easy on my face. It’s times like this that make me glad for my RAD because I know I have the razor for the job regardless of my situation.

The post-wars are more rigid? As much as I'd like a razor that was new when Jimmy Stewart, Bogart, and Jimmy Cagney were young movie stars, the postwars sound even better. One of these, please, and a 1960 Fatboy.

Now that I've shaved with a postwar fat-handled Tech and Personna blade, I agree that it makes for a great shave, and a great experience. Some Feather blades are on the way; I'll try one in the Tech.
