Two passes plus touch-up. Not quite as close as I can get with three passes plus touch-up with a DE, but CCS and it saved some time, and I wasn't going for BBS.

The Wilkinson System II cartridges, along with their slim red handle, is what I used for a good portion of the '80's and '90's. They had no lube strip, and were cheaper than Atras at Cecille's Discount drugs, about 2½ miles from here. I found this cartridge as the last one in a 5-pack in and old travel bag. Wilkinson back then also sold shaving foam in a 7 oz. can that was noticeably better than the other stuff.

I also noticed some other things at Cecille's, like tubes of Palmolive shave cream, but didn't have an inkling how they were used. Alas, Cecille and her husband, who had catchy ads on local radio, decided to sell out, retire, and move to Florida. Wilkinson in the '90's also reduced their presence in the U.S. and that great (to me at the time) shave foam in the grey 7 oz. can w. Union Jack logo disappeared from the shelves.
