First shave with a Feather today

I wonder if a bit of palm stropping might tame the first shave with a Feather blade a tad...

I'm going to try it out next time I use one.
 
In my student days, I spent a while working in commercial kitchens. I remember the chefs' constant refrain of "a sharp knife is a safe knife". I think that applies to DE blades as well. Feathers are nothing to fear. They are sharp as all get out, but that doesn't mean you should approach them with trepidation. It just means less force for the same results. And the less force you use, the lower the likelihood of mishap.
