Eversharp fountain pen ca. 1930-1945

At the risk of going down yet another rabbit hole,
I am interested in acquiring a fountain pen. The
particular pen I have in mind was a favorite writing
instrument of one of my favorite Japanese authors.

The pen was produced by Eversharp, probably between
1930 and 1945. Outside of looking at eBay, I do not
know where to begin looking. Any tips would be appreciated.

It was pretty ingenious. A slider moved forward and back, changing the stifffness of the nib, from a nail to pretty impressive flex. Obviously, this sort of mechanical complexity came with some durability issues, so working ones are tough to find.

A modern take on the Eversharp is the Pilot Justus 95 but you should try it first.
