Eversharp fountain pen ca. 1930-1945

At the risk of going down yet another rabbit hole,
I am interested in acquiring a fountain pen. The
particular pen I have in mind was a favorite writing
instrument of one of my favorite Japanese authors.

The pen was produced by Eversharp, probably between
1930 and 1945. Outside of looking at eBay, I do not
know where to begin looking. Any tips would be appreciated.

The Dorics, especially with the adjustable nib, are rare and pricey. Teri at PSP (who is great to deal with) has a small selection currently:

David Nishimura has a pocket sized one: 15711 - https://www.vintagepens.com/morepics.php?id=15711&pics=9

Otherwise, your best bet is the BST at FPN or FPG. Good luck!
Thank you! So for the total newbie, what is the deal with the adjustable nib?
