Checking the Gap

I have a FatBoy adjustable and was just reading about the so-called gap between blade and the base -
and measuring it with a feeler gauge - and so the gap at setting 2 should be roughly twice that of setting 1
and so forth .

Has anyone performed that measurement to see how close the craftsmanship at the time was able
to achieve that metric ?

Thanks Nemo - looks like Fatboy and Slim range from .022 at setting 1 to .045 at 9 measured in inches - maybe I'll borrow a set of feelers
and see where my FB falls .

Would love to know gaps and blade exposures for classic vintage razors.....

With all the discussion about how modern razor makers are providing gaps and at least some are saying "negative/neutral/positive" for exposures (with some people wishing to hear actual exposure numbers), what I would love to know is the blade exposures of classic vintage razors, especially...

Think my Slim shaved differently depending on Blsde Choice.

Using Yellow, Green & last Black Gillette 7O-Clocks Blade all preform slightly different depending on Blade CHIOCE and color.

Those three blades are & give different results.
