My totally new Starter Shaving Kit (from La Barbiera [barring the ASL]) was great. I usually only change one thing at a time, but today I had four totally new (to me) items. Result: a very nice BBS shave.

A fine shave.

My new Lord L5 (complete with the new plastic OC baseplate) turned up today, so I HAD TO use it (with the standard SB baseplate that is). My Lord Razors education is just beginning. Now I know that the L5 is a Tech clone and the L6 is a DE89/R89 clone.

I think I'll try out the L5's plastic OC baseplate next shave.

Barring the cap printing, it looks identical to the Gillette Super Click:

I'm guessing that one manufacturer makes ALL the "click" razors (simply changing the cap name/logo to suit their customers).
