Alpha Super Leggero, Italian for “Super Light” - the latest handle from Alpha Shaving Works. Designed in collaboration with the lead Structural Engineer, Speclalising in composites, for a very well known Formula One racing team.
This handle is a fusion of design, technology and materials that has resulted in a very high quality razor handle that will perform and look good for many years.
The end caps are made from Grade 5 Titanium also often called Ti-6Al-4V. The middle tube is manufactured from a Carbon Fibre Composite material and it is glued in place with a special adhesive from 3M UK. Carbon Fibre is one of the lightest and strongest materials known to man and is commonly used in applications where stiffness, lightness and impact strength are required, such as Formula One racing, Aerospace and Defence.
Each handle is lovingly hand assembled to order and finished and weighted to your liking. I am offering multiple weighting choices. The carbon fibre tubes have been custom made and the titanium end caps have been machined on a precision CNC machine and then hand polished to a very high shine.

- Weight - custom weight between 16g and 65g
- M5 x 0.8 fine metric Threads will fit the majority of razor heads both modern and vintage
- Precision CNC machined and Hand Polished to a very high standard
- Custom made carbon fibre tubes are hand finished with shiny top coat or a nice matte finish
- The carbon fibre and titanium are bonded with a specialised adhesive from 3M UK
- Weight Forward 45g - the weight will be concentrated towards the razor head
- Weight Rearward 45g - the weight will be concentrated towards handle base
- Weight Neutral 45g - the weight will be evenly balanced
- Unweighted - Super Leggero (16g). No ballast, no weights - the lightest quality razor handle available in todays market
- Mid-Weighted Neutral - Medio Leggero (26g) The handle will be neutral weighted.
- Custom weight between 16 and 65g.
