Advert blocking the notification questions on Samsung browser.

Hello, I hope this is something the admins can help with.

I use the Samsung browser and for a change wanted to allow notifications on my phone.

But an advert is blocking it.

Is this some thing anyone else has experienced?

Is it a feature not a bug to promote membership?

Thanks for your query. I have no idea about anything Samsung related but one of the other Moderators will reply here shortly.

Each device and separate browser may display things a little differently.
There are so many potential combinations that to block an area specifically to drive membership would take a programming mastermind coordinating across two different software runs.
So, no... it's not intentional, just an unfortunate spot of luck.
Try a different browser?

Is it possible to add an option elsewhere to enable notifications?

Maybe the option screen where the profile pic is set etc.

Are you talking about browser notifications? Where the website asks you to enable notifications permissions?

I don't know if we can move that pop up anywhere else. It might be the browser that makes it appear at the bottom.

There should be a setting for notifications within your browser settings. If you were to enable it then there has to be a way to disable it. Which would be within a notifications setting somewhere in the browser itself. So check your browser settings for website notifications and you may be able to add it that way.
