The wife's investment
Still shaving every day.
I am not actually shaving every day, but I am curious to know: do you go for the BBS shave on a daily basis? or DFS and CCS most of the time?
Once you get into your groove, so to speak, you don't really have to go for BBS, or even any level of shave. At least that is how I got to be. I have my ritual of passes I make, and the result is the result. Chasing a BBS is almost always a sure way to razor burn and uncomfortable skin. I know now what is my most optimal routine to use, and I just enjoy it each time.

What he said. I'll make very slight changes to my routine (or ritual, if you prefer... ) on occasion, and I used to worry the ATG pass on my neck to death, but I'm mostly paying attention to pressure and angle and nothing else. I don't even rub my face before I hit the drain plunger anymore...I know it'll be a DFS, and occasionally I'll have a surprise BBS (like this past Saturday, which was a little odd as it was the 6th shave on that blade).
