My first time using the .68P bottom plate. While it was very comfortable and smooth with very little blade feel, the shave wasn’t what I would call great, a 3-pass+, CCS. I also used a RazoRock Vintage Thin handle for the first time. I really liked that.

I picked up a two-fer today as I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to try the Athena. It didn’t disappoint. I had a quick 3-pass DFS without any touch ups. It was a fine, smooth, comfortable and irritation free shave. I am quite happy and pleased with the purchase.
