This might be mentioned somewhere, and apologies if so, but what material is the handles made of?

It is a polyester resin that I cast myself in the ivory color, doing this for a long time now.
So, in principle it is the resin plus colorants plus the catalyst.

beautiful handle, looks similar to older simpsons persian jars. i love RV brushes and pens, amazing stuff. i specifically love the metal ring on the boar brush and of course that beautiful off white color.

One small question: do we use "for goods and services" payment option (where PayPal takes a cut)? I'm fine with either since I trust Rudy Vey, asking to be sure...

Are you paying for Goods and Services, or are you giving money to Friends and Family?
There's your answer.
Rudy has stated what the pricing is, if anyone feels like they want to give a little more than asking price, there's nothing wrong with that.
