Route 66 Sweeney Todd today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Barbershop w/Menthol aftershave.

Thanks! Douglas has such fun labels! he was looking for the creature double feature theme, in Massachusetts growing up UHF Channel 56 delivered the monster goods , followed by kung fu movies.. I lived for those movies as a young boy, with my hand me down black and white tv in the garage.... we did not need netflix or the internet.. we had UHF! !!Like your artful design of this vertical layout, Jamie. Neat replication of the Crown King image which, by extention IMHO, gives your pic a 50's SF, Saturday matinee Robbie/Gort feel.
Thanks Ron. I have been using Derby's for awhile and like them. I know some say they are junk, but they always work well for me. I generally get 5-6 fine shaves from them and they are nice and smooth. Not overly sharp, but comfortable. In the Wunderbar, the first shave is fairly aggressive. To me, slants in general are the DE razors that I must treat with the most respect. I have an X3, the Wunderbar, and the PAA bakelite. The X3 is very smooth, but can bite, the Wunderbar has more blade feel, and the PAA takes a delicate hand because of weight, but is very efficient.Such a picturesque high angle photo, Steve. How did you like the Derby Extra's performance?
