Shave #2 with the Rapira Super Stainless in my Old Type.
Did face lather and 2 full passes: Pass 1 XTG on my face and XTG on my neck. Great reduction but not as comfortable as yesterday. Pass 2: ATG. Almost a BBS at this point. A cold water rinse followed by a very small amount of touch up in my problem areas and the baby came home. The Aqua Velva yelled a bit, but not as much as yesterday.

The second cruise with the teflon coated voskhod was a smooth comfortable 2 pass shave. This appears to be one of the best blade pairings I have found for this razor and my face. I may have to pick up a few more of these blades for later use. I usually start with a 365 unscented glycerin soap wash but I wanted to see what the Nivea could do unassisted so I simply hot soaked my beard and applied the lather. I think my glide was slightly better yesterday with the glycerin wash followed with the Proraso White.

Another great shave with the 1912 today. Close, smooth and comfortable.

Mine (that very same from an Oxford set) was used on the first shave of OCtober but it is now user grade (was lousy and I learned what NOT to do when cleaning a golden razor...)

I tend to get good shave with the Shave Secret Oil. Not much burn with the Alum. I don't see any real irritation yet. (I think the mirrors at work make irritation look worse) This was my first time with Maggard's Mango AS. My wife said she likes it, I think it's a bit to "perfumey" for me. It feels good on the face though.

A very nice shave with the Sheraton today. Close and comfortable, but just short of a BBS.

Shower then 365 glycerin soap on face and head leave soap on while prepping lather, slight splash rinse applied lather and did the first pass on head then did a two pass shave on face.... May have noticed the beginning of some tugging on my neck so the blade may be done.... However 3 face shaves and a head shave is pretty good considering my newbish technique is still progressing... (Only been shaving this way for 5 months so far...)

Did face lather and 2 full passes: Pass 1 XTG on my face and XTG on my neck (top to bottom today). Great reduction and very comfortable, almost DFS. Pass 2: ATG. Almost had a BBS at this point. A cold water rinse followed by a minor touch up and the baby came home. The Aqua Velva was mild compared to the last couple of days.

Another wonderful BBS shave from the Rapira Super Stainless in my Old Type. This combination has been awesome for me.

I seriously LOVE the tingly cold sensation I get from the Proraso Green Pre-Shave
The blade is tugging a little so time to treat myself to a new one - I've got a blade sampler pack to try with the NEW as I've only used Shark and Astra in it before now. I think I'll use a Personna next.
