Afternoon shower + An "all artisan" shave after two days off
Prep face wash with Neutrogena glycerin soap
Spencer & Devon Spice creamy shave cream + few drops of Civilized Simian's menthol
Kirk Goeldner's elk antler badger brush
Tim Zowada's 5/8" straight razor in giraffe bone scales in two passes
Chin cleanup with King Gillette's Flexball Fusion (!)
Cool washcloth rinse
Splashes of Captain's Choice Bay Rum aftershave

Great shave, still not sure if the pre-shave oil is helping or hurting me. Shave was smooth, but no slickness after the pass and makes a mess of the bowl. I'm thinking it will go in the PIF bin..

try one side of face with PSO, other side without PSO and choose which is better for you.

re mess in bowl, i've never had any PSO do that.
i wonder if there might be some reaction between the PSO and the noxzema?

Filomatic razor and blade + Gal for men vintage stick + New Forest 2204 + Myrsol Formula K


This Spanish razor is very mild, similar to a Tech but one you find the right position and pressure you get a nice close shave!
