The Veg is a wonderful time tested concoction which, for those lucky enough to be chosen, brings to mind the best of the smell of grass during the midwest prairie picnics in the spring, the raw, ominous yet pleasant smell of the walk through the deep forest with that special person, and the clean crisp smell of mom hanging the freshly laundered sheets outside on a day when the breeze wafts wonderful tufts of lilac glory from the bushes lining the yard.

Garry's shop carries samples as well.
Within the coming weeks a sample of the Veg shall be arriving at my door step. My shaving den trembles in fear...
I never scorned the Veg, it scorned me. And as I have mentioned many times: the Veg's power is so terrible that when I wore it, it made my granddaughter cry. This wasn't just a coincidence, because it happened twice. I guess that will be my legacy.
I still respect the power of the foul smelling potion. Who knows, maybe it will grace us one day. Until then, a giggling, happy little girl is enough for me.

That's a common expression in the hills of West Virginia.
+1 I literally got sick and barfed from trying the veg. IMO the veg is the most foul smelling shaving product there is.

I tried the Veg for the first time this morning. I would rate it as a neutral scent for me, not one I love but not one I dislike either.

I wore today in honor of this poll. 
Man you guys can't give this Veg thing, up but the bottom line is "It Stinks" and if you think it doesn't maybe a quick trip to a nasal specialist will sort out your collective problem.
Not trying to be offensive (unlike the Veg) but there are so many nice fragrances out there that can make a man smell great that this Veg doesn't even rate...in fact it should be labeled as a "WMD" - Weapon of Mass Destruction....
I've got a bottle that I need to pour down the sink but I'm not brave enough to open it again until I get a breathing mask.

A good friend once told me that when someone says "Not trying to be offensive but..." then the very next words out of their mouth will be offensive.
Fragrance is subjective, and if you don't care for one, no one would suggest you use it anyway.
Feel free to disparage the scent all you like, but suggesting there is something wrong with people who do like it is indeed offensive, and if that's all you have to offer on the subject, perhaps it would be best not to post at all.
I've tried a lot of other AS that were just so-so - With The Veg being so hit & miss I've just stayed away.
Maybe I'll run into a bottle at a garage sale or someone will pass along a bottle that didn't work out for them.
Willing to try, not overly anxious to buy...
