Your Best Bang for the Buck DE Razor

I'll play. Here are the top ones I own:
Under $50: Gillette Long-Comb New, Merkur 37C Slant, Gillette Slim, Super Adjustable, and Fatboy
Under $100: Weber PH, Progress

If I had to pick only one razor to own, it would be the Weber.

The Weber is an extremely easy to use and great all around razor. I'd probably do the same.

The Merkur 34c is suppose to be the single largest selling razor in the world. You can't beat the shave it gives. It's under $50.00 and
It's a good place to start.

My best bang for the buck is a Schick G4 Injector razor. I paid $36 for it (it originally sold for $0.66), but it was completely mint and unused.

Based on my estimates of accepted market prices (I tend to wait for bargains, or luck).

LESS than $50
Most vintage razors (in terms of numbers) cost less than $50. The Gillette Old Type is a fantastic shaver and can be found for under $10 on Ebay, easily.

$50.01-$100.00
Depending on your preferences, Fatboy adjustable or Gillette Big Fellow, I think each are excellent razors.

$100.01-$200.00
I'd spend $15-$20 on a vintage Gillette Open Comb razor, shave with it and then spend the remaining $80 on dinner and a movie. I just saw "Gravity," I thought that it was pretty good. Hit a nice Thai restaurant afterwards, sounds like a plan.
