Wolfman WR3 question

I am curious to hear opinions on what anyone would think the comparable blade gap in a titanium WR3 would be to the Sabre v2 level one plate in titanium.

I have the new Sabre in titanium and enjoy the level one plate quite a bit. I’m thinking about adding my name back to the Wolfman list for a titanium WR3 in possibly the 0.35 gap. I know the 0.25 is a zero exposure but I am thinking the 0.35 may be just as smooth as the level one plate. Any thoughts appreciated👍🏻

I have a stainless WR3 in 0.35mm. I have owned a previous iteration of the Sabre, but not the new one.

I find the WR3 in this gap to be slightly better than the old Sabre L1 for me. That said I also enjoyed the old Sabre much more at L1 than at L2. I'd say you'll be pretty close with that choice.

So here are my thoughts:

I have had the Sabre v2 on loan and tried L1-4. The OG Sabre L1 is smoother than the new L1. The Wolfman WR3 is even smoother than the Sabres.

I have tried too many WR3 gaps to mention but the original prototype .40 SB and the final .40 SB standard gap is smoother than the OG Sabre L2 but about the same efficiency for me*

I've used .25 and .35 but in open comb and the .40 is the lowest SB I have experience with. I would guess .25 or .30 would be more like the L1 but more comfortable than the Sabre.

None of the Sabres were titanium. I don't like the Wolfman in titanium and don't recommend it -- you are looking at mild gaps anyway. If you have the budget for titanium get the bronze instead. That said I mostly use the Wolfman in brushed steel.

Open combs are very comfortable on the WR3.

The Sabre v2 is closer to the Atelier Durdan Vestige than the WR3. Again the AD is more comfortable than the Sabre especially the classic plate.
