After six months and five days of waiting, my WR2 SS finally arrived today. But I noticed an issue with the polish on the top cap. Has anyone else experienced this with the basic polished?

I don't have a pic that is as close as yours, but I got a WR2 with basic polish about a month ago and I don't see that on my cap. I would send them pics ASAP.

No problem. I also have a WR1, in basic polish, that I've had for much longer than that new one, and it still looks great.

I’ve also seen the basic polished on a Wolfman my friend bought a long time ago. The price was better back then, and so was the craftsmanship…

In 2021 I got a WR2 in basic brushed and the
Top cap was a complete mess way worse
Than yours so I sent them a photo and Tara
Email me immediately instructing me too return it so I did and a couple of weeks after they received it , I was sent a replacement that was
In perfect condition along with an apology...
James had just hired a new helper who some how let it slip past quality control.
In all fairness James reputation is outstanding.
