Can anyone actually help me understand what the difference is? I can get vintage at razor emporium. Or i can get 250 of the wizamet logo box for 50$ and the other official wizamet superiridium.com retailer in the US. 1000 blades for 132+shipping and tax... cheaper then gillette silver blue.

Don't bulk buy the new ones until you have tried them. There is a specific date in 2020 when the Wizamets changed. Before and after are really different.

June/July 2020 seems to be the date. There is a thread on here somewhere. Sadly, I have 200+ Wizamets from 2022 that just aren't that great for me. Not quite sharp enough, while my few 2019 (or is it 2016?) Pols are fantastic.

Post June 2020 wizamet were rubbish for me. I tried 3 different batches and they were just horrible!
I have March and June 2020 wizamet, which are spectacular!
Same blade as the preceding polsilver blades.
I do have some that I purchased after June 2020. Not rubbish but definitely not one of my top tier blades.
