you got 9 Fatboys for $45?! that a major steal.

Ebay is full of collectors and people bid up the prices trying to "WIN!" razors. I've bought a couple rare straight razors online when I save up some money, but the deals are bought locally.

I just picked up a Fatboy for 13 bucks at a nice old lady's antique shop yesterday. I don't think she knows what ebay is. I asked if the price was for real and she offered to take off the tax too...

She had a slim for 15 as well I could probably pick up for 10 if I tried.

I got my fatboy with a leather travel set for around $20 :) £10 my money. Felt like the greatest day of my life as I had went out looking for that one that day. I picked up a slim too which I had a case for around $26 :)

I just found two together at an antique shop. Once I clean them up I'll re-release them at cost here on the board. I'm all about trying to pass on the Fatboy experience.

They are overpriced, in my view. But they are great looking razors. When I first started DE shaving I was determined to get one, cost be damned. As time's gone by, I've lost the urge. (Funnily enough, I have yet to find a razor that works better for me than the 34c, the first razor I bought, overpaying for it at an Art of Shaving store.) But I'll periodically browse Ebay for Fatboy porn, and I think there is no point in denying the greatness of that design.
