Cade is the only soap which can measure up to Tallow-based soaps. Great signature!

What is LC new? As for R41 - good luck, it's shipped with Derby blade .

Hi Dragan,

This is apparently a huge YMMV for me... I can get away with using almost any blade, I even enjoy Derbys... but Astras chew my skin up something fierce. For whatever reason, that effect is especially exaggerated with my LC New.

I've got an r41 on the way, so I'm really interested to see if that exaggerates the nuances between different branded blades, etc.

My "shave fatale" is inexpensive, efficient and understated in terms of scent. Whenever I need to get back down to basics or want a simple, no-brainer shave, I go with:

EJ DE87 with Red IP
EJ BBB
Derby Shave Stick
Warm rinse/ Cold rinse/ Alum stick/ Cold Rinse/ Original Thayers WH then some 4711.
