G'day all!
Warm today, so an iced long black.

Got a recipe menena recipe to share? What was this filled with and flavored with?
I used this recipe. It's fairly straight forward, first time using it and it worked well (not sure if I got the shape right though). I used packaged date paste for the filling.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Awesome brewer! I am interested in trying Turkish coffee, and if I enjoy it as much as I hope, a Soy (probably C2) is my next buy.

Have a wonderful day!
I have a C3, I like a lot of coffee :) The manufacturer claims that he makes each of his items by hand. Well - it seems true. In addition, it is possible to return the goods under warranty if something goes wrong. Of course, if there is a need to mess around with sending your goods to Turkey and then wait. Nevertheless, Soy makes wonderful things and not only for coffee lovers.

Hey! Sical Clássico does not resemble Greek or Turkish coffee. Those tend to have a "spicy" profile and are prepared very differently. Sical, on the other hand, is described as "a full-bodied coffee with smooth acidity and notes of cereal and caramel," which I think captures its essence perfectly.

The closest comparison to Portuguese coffee, like this one, would be Italian coffee. Both countries share a strong espresso culture, though there are subtle differences.

As for the ratio of Arabica to Robusta beans, it's not mentioned on the packaging. It only specifies the origins of the blend: Africa, Asia, and Brazil.

I'm assuming you are in the US. Here's a link to a Portuguese shop in the US:

If you buy it, I really hope you enjoy it. Cheers!
Thank you Gambuzino !

Good morning, coffee crew.

It's 65° in Music City right now with a high around 84° today. Partly cloudy to sunny. About 6 hours of sleep last night. The Carolina Wren is outside my bedroom window right now singing. I also saw the albino skunk again below my deck when I woke up this morning.

We had another productive co-write/session at our studio yesterday. I'm taking today and tomorrow off and heading back in Wednesday evening for a few hours. I just have a few emails to send out today and I'll get a morning walk in later. I picked up a chuck roast at Publix yesterday that's going in the slow cooker with some veggies and that will be dinner.

Have a blessed Monday, my friends.
