What's new

What's your coffee today? What brew method? Photos

Today I was feeling lazy and wanted a Flat White so I went to Starbucks. I don't keep milk in the house. I order my biggie coffees from startbucks with six sugars and ask for stirers since the never stir the sugar enough. When I got home and popped the lid to stir my sugar in I was disappointed to see that my flat white had at least the top quarter of the cup foll of foam. Not exactly flat.

On another note I enjoy my moka pots very much, but, a friend told me about his aeropress and it got me intrigued so I ordered one with many accessories last night. Should be here tomorrow.

Good morning coffee crew

I made a cup with the Aeropress Original brewer.
19.1 grams French Market coffee Chicory
320 grams 175F water 7 minutes off boil.

1 filter in the filter cap.
Put 19.1 grams coffee in the brewer and leveled the bed.
Filled the chamber to the number 4.
Stirred for 10 seconds.
Installed the plunger to stop the coffee from running out.
Steeped for 60 seconds.
Pressed for 30 seconds.
Stirred the brew.
Sipped it black.

Nice strong but smooth cup without grinds in the cup.

Cheers!!!

I think you will like the Aeropress. It is very flexible and cleanup is a lot less than other methods.

My last Moka Express I made was excellent. Bialetti knew what he was doing.

Cheers!!!

Ya know if the Creator of the Universe was a regular person we would advise them to seek anger management therapy. The dude is too much into this horrible weather thing where people die and their homes are destroyed, all because two humans with incomplete knowledge of their actions made a bad decision many moons ago. Get a grip Jehovah! Anyway, enough with my blasphemous commentary, on with the coffee talk! This morning I drank a couple glasses of Stok cold brew enjoyed black. You folks have a beautiful day and don’t forget to smile 😊! Peace 🕊️🌈😊❤️🧜‍♀️🧚⚾🙌
Bill I love your post!

This topic regularly comes up at Torah Study. Nobody on this planet has the answers. The best we can do our part to repair the world. For me, I make a point to donate what I can to those in need. Every little bit helps. Making someone smile does wonders. Meanwhile, we are blessed that we can enjoy our morning coffee while we contemplate the mind of the divine.

Have a fantastic evening!

Best Wishes,
Paul

Good morning , coffee crew!

My morning coffee:
Lavazza Crema Gusto
Moka Pot.
Americano Black.
Clear and 0c this morning.

Some much needed sunshine is in the forecast today. It does wonders!

May we all have a great day!
I am curious if you have tried Super Crema and how it compares to the Crema Gusto?

Cheers!!!

I have a two stainless steel moka pots. The six shot is from Luxhous and I forget what the two shot one is. Several years ago I had a Bialetti Brikka which was very nice. I am looking forward to the aeropress.

G'day all!
Macchiato and a savoiardi biscuit in the morning, and shared a French press of coffee and locally grown and roasted chickory. Bit of a grey cold day so nice and warming. Had a Orzo Pupo instant barley drink in the evening to warm up from putting the bins out in the rain.

Not made for these times.
Good morning, coffee crew.

Mad Priest Sloth Dispelling.
French press.
Black.

It's 56° in Music City right now with a high around 61° today. We had more severe weather yesterday. Heavy rain and strong winds. Several tree limbs down. Once again, I'm grateful the power didn't go out. About 7 hours of sleep last night.

I have a 2 - 5 pm co-write at my studio today that I'm looking forward to.

Have a blessed Sunday, my friends.

My wallet cries.
Morning all, I forget which beans these were, I pour the bag into a jar and while I used to clip the front, I don't anymore. I think? these were the Whole foods beans. Anyways through the flair and at the last minute, felt like something cold instead of hot, so pulled the shot over ice:

And it becomes a slow sipper as the ice melts. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning all!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

Coffee: Colombian Inza Veredad Vecina roasted to City +
Method: Pour-over, V60
Grind: Med

It is 55F currently in South Texas with gusty winds.

After my last sips of coffee, heading out to rake leaves. Not the best setting I know, but got to keep on keeping on.

At least it isn't 90F as it was Friday when I got started.

Anyways, up and at'em.
