G'day all!
Long black and a slice of stollen today.

Good morning, folks! First off I’d like to wish the ever kind and positive vibes guy, @Eric_75 , a happy belated birthday. Many blessings to you,Eric, and may nothing but happiness engulf your soul. This morning I drank two cups of Backbone Overtime Coffee beans brewed by the Moccamaster and enjoyed black. I’m getting excited for all the kiddos out there on God’s green earth who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of ol’St.Nick! I can almost hear the ho ho ho as his jolly self takes flight to deliver the toys to all the boys and girls! I love the season. To all my brethren here….I wish for you all to have an amazing day today! Peace 🕊️🌈🎄🎅

Not made for these times.
Good morning, coffee crew.

Mad Priest Sloth Dispelling. French press. Black.

It's 27° in Music City right now with a high around 44°. It looks like we're in for some sunshine today. About 6 hours of sleep last night. I woke up once to reset my sleep app. I'll get my countertop push ups, sit ups and a brief walk in later.

Looking forward to football, wings and cold beer this afternoon. I have a new hot sauce that a friend sent me that I'll be using today called Polo Red Habanero. 🏈🍗🍻

Have a blessed Sunday, gentlemen. 🙏

Another Clever brew:

18 grams Mexican Dark Roast
360 grams 190F water
Rinsed the filter and emptied the Clever
Poured 360 grams of water and waited for the water to coast down to 190F
Added the 18 grams of coffee
Used a spoon to wet all the grounds
Put on the lid to keep as much heat as possible.
At 4:00 used the spoon to break the crust and encourage the grounds to floculate and sink
At 12:00 used the spoon again to knock the grounds off the side of the filter.
Set the Clever over a pre-heated and empty cup.

Enjoyed 311 grams of Mexican Dark Roast coffee.

Cheers!!!

My nephew works for PEET'S so I get to sample freshly roasted coffee quite often . Major Dickason has been my favorite so far , but this roast is also right at the top . Roasted just into the " dark roast " range , highly aromatic and very smooth on the palate . A real nice cup . My vintage VEV Vigano Kontessa moka pot is very small, one demi-tasse cup so this morning I had 2 cups on this sunny but cold break from wind and rain .
