What's your coffee today? What brew method? Photos

On most Tuesdays, we get up at 4AM to prepare to leave the house around 5 to drive down to look after our now 6 month old granddaughter.... She was born on July 30th... so as close to exactly 6 months old as she can get. She's fun....

So I brewed my Don Pablo in the regular stainless steel French press.... and just finished it a few minutes ago... Those Yetis really are nice for keeping coffee hot for a few hours.

We're 2.5 hours south of our place here in St. Petersburg and it's a bit warmer here than at home... Mid 60s here today.

Long black/americano today, and chocolate. The bag of chocolates isn't going to last long at the rate the household is going through them.
Definitely felt like a coffee this morning, just got home from an overnight at the hospital after a concussion a few days ago (bumped into the fridge door and the fridge door won). Prescribed with exercise, plenty of water and good sleep, I'm sure coffee can't harm.

Drinking the Polar Expresso today folks. :cuppa:

I've been thinking about Doug today. I was reading a thread in the SR forum about adjustable razors, and I saw a post from Doug there. Then I saw the "In Memory" badge on his profile, and it just hit me, and the tears showed up. I'm sure other's can relate.

It's happened to me several times looking at Doug's "In Memory" badge, Chris.

Have a blessed day, my friend.

Good morning, coffee crew.

My stomach isn't very happy this morning so no coffee as of yet. Just a little Kefir milk.

It's 32° right now with a high around 38° today. I'm not seeing any snow in the forecast and I'm happy we're warming up this week. I got about 8 hours of sleep last night. I woke up a few times but drifted back off each time. A pretty quiet day ahead and that is just fine with me. It's almost February already. This month has flown by for me.

Have a blessed one, friends.

This is my first post in this thread.
I am managing restraintful shaving impulses in GRUME but am in a bit of a rabbit hole with coffee.
The Next Level "Pulsar" brewer has a variable valve that allows "flow profiling" percolation and immersion during pour-overs.
I am getting the manual Flair Pro 2 this Friday to be able to pressure profile espresso.
Today I am using an old bag of LavAzza Espresso.

It is nice to see some familiar posters from the shaving threads.

Concussions are no joke. Follow your doctors' orders to the T!

Consider that an order!

Hey, all.

The major started his day with an inadvertent still life. He supposed that this should be called Coffee in Balance. Except without, you know, the coffee.

Moving on.

As for his coffee, the major made himself an Americano of La Colombe Nizza in the Aeropress, pictured above drying on the counter after a quick wash.

By the way, if you've never tried coffee from Philadelphia's own La Colombe roastery, you really should. Damned good stuff.
