Santa Maria Novella - a friend of mine visited Rome and stumbled upon the company store of SMN. Of course he had not hesitated at all to pay 39 EUR for a tub and upon returning home, was so generous to give me a (one-month supply) sample. First shave with this beauty this morning. It will take time before I find the right approach to lathering it, but the overall feel and effect are wonderful! Greetings, gents!
Palmolive Classic. This tube was sent to me by a good friend of mine from Sweden. It seems to be the only commercial cream available there.

Im a menthol guy (proraso green) so Im trying out the Cremo Cooling Post Shave stuff.
Its nice and not too menthol-strong with a light scent. I use a little Pinaud Clubman later on.
On a side note - i went for a balm because of my straight razor learning curve. As my technique has gotten better, I dont get that post-shave bite as much at all. Nonetheless, I like the post-shave balm 'lotion' effect and still use it.
