I am really impressed with how this razor shaves. The scales also create some balance which the Spanish version lack. The centre or gravity should be at the tang in my opinion

Coticule test #6. Union Spike #4 with fresh modern (150 x 70) La Grise natural combo edge, Semogue 2-Band Finest Badger, Stirling Unscented with Beeswax, and homemade orange and sandalwood aftershave splash.

Nice sharp and comfortable edge! Beautiful chunk of La Grise. While hazy, this edge is a bit shinier than some of the previous Coticule edges. I am developing an affection for La Grise. This particular stone has great feedback.
