After the gentle shave of yesterday, back to the DE, no shavette today.
Wednesday is a struggle for me, it seems. Always may most difficult day, except for maybe Thursday. I shave my head Monday-Th and Saturday and for some reason sat, mon, tue are great.
Taking Tuesday with the milder razor did help and irritation/exfoliation was much better, so that worked. I just nicked myself 4 times! ***! I usually only do that with the shavette.
They are all pretty minor, but annoying and frustrating. What makes me so clumsy on Wednesday? I almost gave myself a bad one. Caught a small nick and backed off immediately, but when I put the razor back to my scalp the blade went right into the nick again! What?! I saved it with a quick reaction, but that could have gone badly…
Other than 4 small nicks, the shave was very acceptable.

Decided to go for a second round with this modern classic of a razor, this time with a fresh blade.
Very smooth, very good shave. A great shave with the Overlander probably requires a sharper blade than the Plus Platinum.
However, this combo would be a good daily driver. It might actually be as close a shave as you want to go for on a daily basis. So easy to use, too.
