What razor/blade did you use today

Gillette Superspeed Light 🇬🇧 Feather 🇯🇵
Le P'ti Meusien 🇨🇵 Simpson Colonel X2L Super 🇮🇲
IMG_20250115_055713658.jpg

The lightweight version of the British Superspeed trio from 1956/7. Paired with a Feather this works flawlessly, punching well above its weight to deliver a very comfortable and surprisingly close shave.

Razor: Kasho Captain Straight Razor Kamisori (10)
Blade: KAI Captain Titan Mild Protouch MG (6)
Preshave: Hot shower; Shave Secret shave oil
Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Monster Synthetic Shaving Brush- 26mm
Lather: Proraso Shaving Soap in a bowl Sensitive skin + Cremo Coconut Mango cream
Aftershave: Cold water rinse;

No nicks; No irritation; Very Close; Very Smooth; Post shave feel is excellent. DFS+ above the jaw lines and DFS below the jaw lines. A pleasant uneventful shave. I decided to wait on using the unguarded blade.

Cheers!!!

GEM MMOC
Personna GEM PFTE blade (6)

With the blade nearing the end of its lifecycle, it's time to break out the MMOCs. Today the v.2 version with the bumps on the frame, and my next GEM shave with the "bumpless" v.1 version for maximum aggression/efficiency. I was fairly pleased with the smoothness from this v.2 version on my first shave with it. Definitely not an autopilot razor, though.
