What razor/blade did you use today

This setup, GREAT SHAVE.

Made year I started High School, same year we sent first drums of Agent Orange to Vietnam.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm a huge fan of the Licence Palmers in all their forms. This is one of the heavy all-brass first gens with the thin top cap, that are less prone to plating issues than the later ones.

In theory you can set them with monstrous blade gaps, but blade distortion is a distinct problem at very high settings as there is zero support along the length of the blade - just a central spring.

The dial goes from 0 to 5 and I overclocked it back to 0 for today's shave, which is about as high as I dare go. Out of interest I measured the blade gap at about 0.88mm at this setting.

The result was a very fine, smooth, close shave.

No nicks; No irritation; Close; Very Smooth; Post shave feel is excellent. Pleasant DFS+ above the jaw lines and DFS below the jaw lines. On target.
