Razor: Gillette British Aristocrat (1948)
Blade: Nacet (6) Best shave was day 3 and then it went downhill. I can afford to change blades after three BBS shaves.
Brush: SOC "Mistura" 50/50
Soap: Lucky Tiger (not bad and I need to finish it).
Post: Lucky Tiger "Bay Rum"
Full weight nickel-plated set from 1955, this #58 shaves every bit as well as any early 4th gen Aristocrat. Very thorough and efficient razors, perhaps a shade less smooth than the 3rd gens, but always a pleasure to use.
Disastrous shave today. Total bloodbath. My first try with the E3, and there's obviously something wrong with it. It hacked up my face with two different blades. I think the spring isn't clamping down the blade on one side, as the cap is lifted on that side.
I had to finish the shave with my RazoRock German 37. Tomorrow might be a day of rest for my face, depending on how the cuts are healing.
