I would be interested in hearing how you like the Webnotebooks, and what size you got. I really like the Rhodia dot-formatted paper. But I always carry around a 3.5 x 5 notebook for random notes and the like, and the combination of the thick Rhodia paper and hard cover of the Webnotebooks, things a bit too thick, methinks. I prefer the Moleskine soft cover in that size, but the paper is really not good enough and does not have the dots.
The one up size works pretty well for carrying around in a brief case.
I have been using the Clairefountaine in basic clothbound for the 8.5 x 11 size. Seem to do the trick. Handsome. Good paper. Somewhat affordable. Unfortunately not dots, but lines. Not all that sturdy, but sturdy enough to carry around in a brief case.
