What is your Blade Bank ?

I'm going with the Altoids box as suggested earlier. Simple. Free. Crush the can when done and it's easy to dispose!

I use an old Barbasol can. I cut a slot in it with a hacksaw and widened it a bit with a hatchet (so the spines of single edge blades would fit).

Bought a screw lid beaker for 80p in my local supermarket and cut a slot in the top

Well just last week I used an 8 oz. can of tomato sauce to make some quick and dirty salsa for a snack. But instead of opening the can the regular way I used my large pocket knife and just made a slit in the top of the can. Drained the sauce out, which took a little work, and peeled off the label and dropped my used blade in. Now I just need to paint the can to show it is my used blade bank.

Anybody have any ideas on how I should paint it ? Note: I'm no artist, I need something simple.....

I use the $1 blade bank sold by our vendors. They're small enough to tuck away in any drawer and hold quite a few blades. I've got 160+ DE blades plus some blades from a razor knife in my current one and it still has room for more. When full I cover the slit with duct tape and toss in the trash.
yup...the ones that look like micro mail or bread boxes:a39:

I have a cardboard and plastic tootsie roll coin bank. But I bought an metal coin bank at the local dollar tree that I'll switch over to when the time comes.

The wife & I volunteer at a local community thrift store. Picked this up yesterday, not bad for half a buck this should hold me for a minute or two:thumbup:
