I think you will have time to go watch her after you walk Spot.
It was a little unnerving watching my son's first tournament. As a matter of fact it's always unnerving.

My daughter will be in her first tournament this weekend.
Can't wait to hear how that turns out.
Now that Manny is washed up and well over 30, I need a new hero(ine) to follow in the combative arts.
She'll be the first one eliminated. But that's not the point. The fact that she's in a tournament impresses the heck out of me.
We'll see.
The main thing is for you to be there to keep her grounded ... pep talk if she loses, deflate overly inflated ego if she wins ... in a way that makes her want to come back for more.
Tell her to sweep the leg. I'm not sure what sport we're talking about, but if it's boxing, they won't see that coming!
