Shaving Nirvana!
Thursday 3 April - today was one of those days where everything just seems to come together. Started with a hot shower, followed by a gentle 2 pass and touch-up shave, that left me with a DFS finish and almost no iirritation.
I'll rate it as a 9.8/10
Fatip Lo Storto OC, FlyDear #4, Body Shop Maca Root and Aloe shaving cream, Yaqi England 20mm synthetic, Natio calming aftershave balm.

Prep Hot Wash.
Blackland Shaving Towel.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Badger.
Soap Mastro Miche Shaving Stick.
Razor Wilkinson Sword Sticky.
Blade Wilkinson Sword.
Aftershave Pinaud Brandy Spice.

Today's shave was with the lovely Wilkinson Sword Sticky, they definitely knew how to make an excellent razor.
I had a lovely 2 pass shave with it and zero complaints at all.
The Mastro Miche stick is just fantastic, I love the scent and the post shave feeling, it's a first class stick and the way I am going, I will be needing to buy another one soon.
a solid 8.8/10 shave.

Nice! I haven't tried their other stuff, but I have used their moisturiser for years and it ticks all the boxes for me. I wasn't even aware it was available in the Great North!

Third round in a row with REX Konsul XL. For head shaving went back to setting 3. This time used the same setting for one pass WTG and one pass ATG with some buffing. Extremely close and BBS though a bit of irritation afterward. Turned down to 2 for face shaving. Used #2 for both WTG and ATG just one pass each since my skin is still a bit sensitive from last night's fiasco. DFS but good enough for face shaving. I still have not figured out the best settings for the Konsul. On setting three I get the close shave that I looking for but my skin is a bit irritated afterwards. Within 24 hrs. it's usually fine. On setting 2 and lower it requires more passes which can also result in some irritation. So I either settle for a DFS or keep trying to find the perfect setting combination. I still rate tonight as 9/10. Next I'm going to give each of my adjustables another go with one shave each shave to see how they stack up.

Another great shave with the Tatara Blade. Just a couple tiny weepers, sealed up quick with alum. Very close!

10/10 Two pass shave WTG/ATG the henson never fails me and the RK blade has never been a bad choice for me. There is definitely a reason Henson pairs these blades with their razor. I will likely be using this combination for the forseeable future. A nice smooth shave for hump day.
