Last shave of the trip. Tokyo in the background. Flying back to NJ tonight. The Syntesi is a good little trooper. If pushed, the efficiency can be quite high but the risk of weepers goes up. A very close shave today but at the cost of 3 micro-weepers on the upper lip. BBS/BBS-

Been awhile since I used the GC84-P. It's like I used it yesterday. Very intuitive and drama free. Really like shaving with the GC84-P!

Today’s shave was mush like the last three. Tuggy and draggy and just not cutting much at all. I could still feel stubble in the shower after my shave. I have had to go back multiple times and go over my cheeks and jowls and the blade is struggling. Funnily enough there has been no blood, very little visible irritation and today there was not much sting when I used my Alum Block. I am seriously thinking of stropping this blade on my jeans before using it again. I would rate the shave as another 7.5/10.

QED shave (Quick, Efficient, and Delicious). The new STF knot in my trusty old handle delivered what may have been the best face lathering experience I've had. The Ogallala scent is one of my very favorites, but does tend to irritate my face after several minutes, or with any amount of scrub from my previous brushes. STF and a one pass shave seems to sneak in under the radar. Solid one-pass CCS, no cuts or irritation. This was the first time I've used Skin Bracer from the plastic bottle since pouring some into glass a couple of weeks ago. It's definitely better from the glass.

The brush is my Boti badger. Loads and loads of excellent lather with the Body Shop cream.
Face 2.8/3 - so comfortable, but not a DFS+ today.

Zen: 1/1
Rating: 9.8/10
A very meditative and comfortable shave today. The New is hard to fault for comfort. But I'm going to swap back to my Yaqi Mellon. I am also considering giving the New a black oxide coating to better match the stainless handle. Watch this space.
