Just a little bit of post shave tightness this morning. Otherwise this was a great shave. I have to watch for accumulating irritation with this razor. Very close shave though.

My face was pretty dry today so I started of rinsing with hot water and then applying Stirling Soap Boat Drinks Pre shave oil. Whilst the oil was soaking into my whiskers I started loading up my Lupo 58 with a Treet 7 days platinum blade (second use). I then used my Mühle STF XL 25mm brush to whip up some nice lather of MdC Vetiver soap. The shave still wasn't as smooth as I would like, but I think the pre shave oil helped a bit. I finished the shave off with some Orange chill aftershave lotion from Stirling (which I just received yesterday). Fantastic natural scent, although I do wish they offered many of their citrus offerings sans menthol. Overall a nice shave, DFS on neck and BBS everywhere else. I do think the Treet 7 days isn't for me. I'm not a fan at all of the Treet platinums (orange), and allegedly the 7 days is the same blade. Will see how the 3rd shave goes with the blade... 8.5/10.

Comments	This was the fifth shave with the .84p Game Changer razor and PolSilver Super Iridium blade. The shave was very close and smooth. This Super Iridium .84p combination works nicely. Today’s brush a Morris & Forndran 2XL finest. It made plenty of rich lather. The TFS soap was on its 24th use. The shave was a perfect and BBS. Have a great day, folks.

This combination always gives me a smooth shave. This morning ... not so much. First pass was surprisingly rough. I'm in a little rut for reasons that are a mystery.
Well tomorrow's shave will be with my smoothest combo: Pearl Flexi and Gillette Perma-Sharp. I'm sure it won't disappoint ...



... probably.
