I am starting the week with a different razor and blade combination. Next in my rotation is the Karve—Christopher Bradley razor in brass. I am using the C plate and loaded the razor with a PolSilver Super Iridium blade. The shave was perfect. The Kent BK8 Silvertip is no longer in production, and it did an excellent job of making plenty of lather with the Cella soap. There are not that many shaves left with the chunk of Cella. I have been using the soap for 46 days. It was a perfect BBS shave.

Dull yet interesting
Preshave: Hot shower
Soap/Shave cream: Proraso White
Brush: Maggard 24mm
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89
Blade: Treet Carbon Steel (2)
Post shave: Pinaud Clubman
Rating: 9.8/10

A rarity for me: using a Treet Carbon Steel blade twice. Just wanted to see how it did. And it did fine. Maybe not as smooth as the first use but certainly reasonable.
I continue to be impressed by Proraso products. I have three of their soaps/creams and all are outstanding and a great value.

Razor: Henson AL13+
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (1)
Postshave: Alum block, Dickinson's WH

Rating: 9.5/10

First try with the Gillette Yellows and the La Toja stick soap, both were very good. I chased BBS a little too hard today, and my neck paid the price with some burn and a couple of nicks. Can't complain about blade, it performed great, as has been my experience with all the Russian Gillette offerings. 9.5 today due only to my carelessness.

Well today I used my Vintage 1956 B-3 Gillette Ball End Tech Razor, that I got as a PDF from @gpjoy, with a Jifulo Platinum Edge Blade. Apparently from AliExpress in ROC, that was out of my Zip Lock Baggie with Orphan Blades. Day Number One usage of Blade. This Blade preformed very well, should be interesting to see how long it last.

Very Good Shave, Tech & Blade had very little Blade feel, but mowed down one days beard growth with ease. Would Rate Shave a strong 9.9 +. Did three passes, With, Against, and Across, no irritation.

Again used the Cremo Classic today, doing two applications, and two passes. Think I found the best way for me to use this product with great result, think you got to reapply a little more Cremo between passes for optimal results. Produce is slick so you almost do not need reapply much for second and third pass. As this product is like grease lots of residue left behind for those clean up pass's.

The Sixty Eight year Old Vintage Ball End Tech did great job, how could that be it not modern with Arm, and Leg Price Tag? Well in my World these Vintage Gillette’s work well, and can compare to any modern, as currently I own none.

Hello friends

Cloudy day. I'm going to end the year with one of my favorite soaps, MdC Fougère, which pairs beautifully with Brut Original. Rocca R94 and GSB (2) make a perfect pair. And I'm back to my first Semogue, the 1305, my old and good friend.

With us, in this last shave of 2024, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Bill Evans.

Rating: 10

I wish you all a blessed 2025 and great shaves!
